I am a Spiritual and Peaceful woman walking the path of my Native American Ancestors. Everyday is an opportunity to learn from one another and to grow and do our part to try to help heal our Mother Earth and Her beautiful Oceans & those Blessed to walk upon and within Her. We are all teachers for one another. We are all connected to one another and should regard each other in this manner.
May you all find Peace on & within your path and may the wonders of the natural world never cease to amaze us all. Thank you to the Great Mystery, Great Spirit and all of the Spirit Guides that watch over those that we Love and Care for.
The beautiful music you are listing to is called Mama Crow's Song - Short for Mom! :-) This spiritual piece was created by my son Myke for my use while I find my peace within - my sacred space - that special place I go to speak with Spirit & find direction in my life - Much too beautiful to keep to myself so I decided to share it with all of you! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do every time I hear it - it connects me with my families Native American roots - the drumming is the beat of Mother Earth's Heart and connects my heart with Our Creator - I hope it helps connect you with The God of your Heart and the path of peace as well.
Let There Be Peace and Let It Begin With Me

" A Wise Old Indian Chief "
An old Indian chief sat in his hut on the reservation, smoking a ceremonial pipe and eyeing two U.S. government officials sent to interview him.
"Chief Two Eagles" asked one official, "You have observed the white man for 90 years. You've seen his wars and his technological advances. You've seen his progress--and the damage he's done."
The Chief nodded in agreement.
The official continued, "Considering all these events, in your opinion, where did the white man go wrong?"
The Chief stared at the government officials for over a minute and then calmly replied ........... "When white man found the land, Indians were running it--no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, women did all the work, medicine man free, Indian man spent all day hunting and fishing and all night having sex."
Then the chief leaned back and smiled .... "Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that. An old Indian chief sat in his hut on the reservation, smoking a ceremonial pipe and eyeing two U.S. government officials sent to interview him.

" CHEROKEE BLOOD '
Today I hear people say I'm one eighth Cherokee or one quarter or one half. So what's the big deal? What are you, if you're grandmother was black? I never hear anyone say, , I'm one eighth black or one quarter black or half, they are just black. If your great grandmother was Japanese what do you say? I'm a quarter or an eighth..no, you say I'm Japanese.
Today a Cherokee is a Chrysler Jeep...Is the gas tank full, or on half, or one eighth full?
A medicine man came to our little band years ago and he said,"if you have one drop of Indian blood, you ARE Indian!"
How many of you were born in America? Well aren't you Native Americans then? Learn This Land. Learn the ways of your people. Those things in Europe are fine, but leave them there and learn this land. Learn about your roots, here. For without the roots the tree dies...Do it for the kids and for the future kids. Leave them a world of 'Hope', a world of getting along together. For if one person in the tribe was hungry..it meant the whole tribe was hungry.
One stick you can break, but the bundle of sticks you cannot break...it is strong...The Europeans put an ax sticking up, in the middle, of the bundle of sticks. Their policy was to divide and conquer..and also to facilitate the break up of the tribes...You can sometimes see their logo behind the platform of government speakers...
It's not the color of the skin, it's the color of the heart that counts.
And if you have that Indian blood in your veins, do something to help your brothers and sisters, on the reservations. ..As the injustices still continue but in much more subliminal maner...Since the Cherokee Trail of Tears and the Navaho Long Walk, the suicide rate , on some reservations today, is five times above the National Average.
Do whatever you can to benifit your tribe, your People.
I'm Cherokee and proud of it..I ain't no Jeep! Aho!

" Life is subject to change without notice
and without your permission."
Sometimes you will choose change and sometimes
change chooses you. We struggle when it reshapes
the familiar and breaks up the continuity in our
lives. Change can bring growth or grief. Change
can be minor, radical, life altering, exciting,
challenging, even frightening, but it can also be
managed.
What was happy can turn to sad, things get
rearranged and nothing stays the same. You cannot
always choose the changes that come your way.
But you can always choose your response. Whether
you are facing an empty nest, life after divorce, a
new city, change in your health or a change in your
daily job policy and procedures, change in weather or
a change of heart from a friend/lover/ spouse, learn to
adapt rather than be a victim of change.
Sometimes change is needed but you want to hold on
in spite of the writing on the wall. The need to
change or let go can be obvious, inevitable and the
signs are everywhere to be seen and heard. You
may be resisting change with all your will in fear of
the unknown or the need to have what's comfortable
and familiar remain status quo.
Just like the seasons change, your life
changes. You have to be open to the change that
is coming and willing to learn the lesson it often offers."
