Hi everyone I have something good to share There is a good book written by Bufflo Birds Women s Garden .When I was in Bar Harbor I found a native store I spoted this book as in Quebec English books are few and far between. Its put out bu Minesota Historical Society Press . It was published in 1917 anthropologist Gilbert L.Wilson . The information was by a native Women name Buffalo Bird Women She and her family raised huge crops of Corn Squash, beans ,and sunflowers on the rich bottomlands of the
Missouri River in what is now North Dakota . Her story is on the back of the book. due to respect for this Elder I can not copy her story due to Copyrights . but it well worth the money . You can also check out amoszon books for copies or just order it or at the library . This book is used for american indian studies for the training and for teaching . For those wanting to learn I suggest this book Also there is another People's Ecology
Edited by Gregory Cajete This book is excellant as it talks about Exploration in sustainable living. re health. Evironment ,Agriculture, and Native Traditions These are a good investment for those who want to learn and share.
Also if you contact your area Dept of Agriculture they will give you free information . This particular author has many books and good resource for those wanting to live the old native traditional way.
I hope this helps this group love you
