O'siyo to All. I was born mixed-blood Tsalagi (Cherokee). My father was Tsalagi and my mother Irish/Scottish with red hair and freckles and a ray of pure sunshine! She sang as she worked ~ so sweet and was my best friend. My father was stern and quiet, with a down-turned mouth, and when he spoke, YOU LISTENED. But, he loved us two kids and had a twinkle in his eye, especially when fishing! We were very poor when I was a child; we even had an outhouse! My mother and I carried water from a spring. My father moved us from Kentucky to Florida when I was five. We traveled back and forth all of my life. They have both passed over now, but, I will see them again. They are in my dream world a lot ~ my mother when I am in turmoil; my father when I feel weak, not strong.

I had wanted a kitty since I was a small child. I had one for 15 years recently. She was my best little friend. She passed over too. Sometimes, in the night, I can still feel her jump up on the end of the bed, it will actually sag, and I sit up and look around and I know she's around me somewhere ....

I live in the country in Kentucky, and just in the last year have come to know who I really am, where I came from, and the Path that I am to follow. Even though I grew up in the "White Man's World," my heart and spirit are Cherokee. Shoot, I still have to live in the white man's world ~ modern technology ......

I believe that I am "here," in this town, in this State, on this Earth, in this Realm or Dimension, and on this "site" for a reason ~ to help others in any way I can. I am not a medicine person and I have no great talents. I am just here to give support to those who need it ~ the elderly and poor who can not do for themselves; friends who need a shoulder, and prayers for those in need. I nearly died once, but, I came back and I believe the reason I came back was to help others. It wasn't my time. I have visions that come true and I am very intuitive and have learned to follow my gut feelings! I have learned MUCH this past year, living back here in Kentucky again!

I could go on and on. Maybe I will add more sometime. This was just a beginning, to let some of you know who I am. And, to get to know some of you out there ......

Good afternoon everyone, I am glad to meet you all and its a pleasure being on this site. Well, I am a housewife of 39 yrs., have 2 grown daughters, and I am an animal lover, but mostly wolves. They are my passion !!! I am disabled by polio since I was 2 yrs. old, have underwent 2 hip replacement surgeries, have underwent a hysterectomy due to cancer, and now my husband is undergoing chemo treatments, and the pills, due to cancer of his colon. We both are very thankful to be alive and doing as well as we are for things certainly could be much worse. I just thank the good Lord for each day that I wake up and I am able to do just about anything all the others can do, I may be slower, but I can still do alot of things. lol

On April 25 I will be at Rockville Ct. at a pow . It will be held at the Rockville Methodist Church , 142 Grove St.. Hopefully some of you will be able to come by and say hello to me.

Well it is getting to be pow wow season and I will be hitting the pow wow trail very soon. I have already gone to one pow wow as a vendor and am hoping to go to 3 or 4 a month as a vendor. I have been busy putting together dream catchers, necklaces, chokers, ear rings, dance bells etc. I have also been trading with other people for crafts that I can put out to sell. Hope that the economy does not keep people from wanting to learn more about our history and bring back a souvenir or two.

Hi, 2 All of my Dear Brothers & Sisters, here !!
Just wanted 2 let ya all know, I'm still workin', 12-14 hrs. a day, & takin' care of my Hubby, when I can B of "Help" 2 Him !!
We, both have our "good-days" & "bad-days", just like every 1 here, but it's our LOVE & 2-Getherness, W- each-other, & W- ALL of U HERE, that gives us the Strength, 2 go-on !!
I, have met Alot of Supportive & Carin' People here, & Each-1 of U, have a Special Place, Deep~W- in my Heart !! U, each have a Spirit, that Should SOAR, 4-ever !! I, Can't express, my Gratitude & Greatfulness, 4 Your Friendship~Sisterhood !!
